Sprint booster/tune??

Some people call the Sprint Booster snake oil and for the record it is not a Tuner. I have one and have been happy with it. Now as you may have read it does the same thing if you just stomp the pedal, but I feel it gives me more throttle response when I need it not when the computer decides it has gotten the ok from Toyota corporate...JK, but sometimes the lag to me is unbearable. Whether it's worth the price? Your decision. I actually have 2, one for the 4th and 5th gens. No other tuner experience though.

I have one (bought it from Jason)it does make a difference but not $300 in my opinion. I thing maybe if it were $179-199 at most I'd say go for it. But thats just my opinion, lots of guys are thrilled with it.

Tuners and a Sprint Booster are two completely different devices. As mentioned, the SB just reduces throttle lag. An actual tuner changes fuel and timing mapping so the engine makes more power. Tuners are fairly new in the Toyota world and I haven't seen a good one yet. The Bully Dog tuner was blowing up engines. OV Tune is supposed to be good. I have no experience with them.
