Squeak sounds after rear shocks upgrade

Here is a brand new 2021 TRD off-road with KDSS.

Changed rear stock shocks to Bilstein 5160 with stock coil springs.

Squeak/chirp sounds when driving on wahsboard, over sharp speed bumps/ potholes. Quiet on pavements / roads.

Already retorqued the nuts that been touched.

It’s annoying. Especially after a long day.

retorque the kdss sway bar bolts located near the rear diff housing.

I had the same issues you described, and when i went to install a diff skid, i noticed that the bolts were easy to torque off (which it shouldn't be).

When i reinstalled those bolts, i torqued to spec and my squeaking went away.

Actually I need to do a complete retorque.
I torture my vehicle since day 1.

Did you torque the suspension bolts while lifted or on the ground? You should rock vehicle on ground by hand with bolts loose and then torque to prevent binding in the bushings. Could that be the squeaks you are hearing?

If nothing resolves the noise, you can always swap back the stock shocks .. one at a time.

R and R can isolate noise issues

Check the Parking Brake Cable Bracket on rear trailing arm

The Parking brake cable runs through a little metal bracket that is bolted to the trailing arm. If that bracket is putting a bind on the cable where it passes through, you will get squeaking.

You can bend the bracket to relieve the tension and/or spray silicone or lithium grease into the tube section the cable passes through...
