The same deal killed my battery a few months ago. I have since installed a battery box from Summit racing.

wait so your battery died? I'd rather not replace the solenoid, $124 from smucks is stupid!

Also, it's weird because if i turn my radio off and the fan down, it starts right up. So it has something to do with the power draw. It could still be a messed up solenoid, but i'm really hoping it's not.

well i got pissed this morning and had an idea, take a crescent wrench and hit the battery post, now she runs no problem. Poor connection. Sort of what I figured when i popped the hood this morning and felt the connections and they were warm. one problem down.

Sometimes it just takes a little excessive force Clean the terminals real good with a wire brush and make sure everything is tight.
