Hi everyone, relatively new to the forum here but having an issue I can't seem to figure out. I have a 2015 SR5 with 142,000 miles on it. Also live in the rust belt and have done some rust prevention since purchasing in 2020, but the previous owner didn't do anything for preventing rust.
Recently, I've heard a high pitched squeaking/squealing coming from what seems to be the front passenger side wheel hub. It primarily happens when I am turning right, and can be heard but much less pronounced when driving straight. I pulled out my front passenger caliper, rotor and pad, cleaned off some rust around them, regreased and reassembled. That unfortunately didn't work. I brought it to a garage to do a "level 1 inspection" and they told me it might have actually been the front drivers side caliper, which I then replaced and am still having the issue. I took a video of the wheel hub and had the wheel turned from side to side and can hear a slight grinding in some rust/metal when doing so. I'm thinking maybe that's what's causing the squeaking but could use some guidance if anyone has any!
