Wheel bearing or Caliper?

Started a month or so had a bad shudder when heavy braking. Rotated tires and noticed driver passenger side wheel barely moved.
Tire has no wobble and hear no noise while driving.
Pads passenger side look as good as the driver side. No noticeable extra brake dust.
Notice that the rotor hub is warmer on the passenger than the driver side and sometimes way warmer after driving.
Since there’s no obvious signs of one or the other any input to narrow the caliper or the wheel bearing ? I’m thinking just buy the caliper and wheel bearing and take it apart to see if the caliper retracts.

Bearing you can check by jacking the wheel up off the ground by the lower control arm. Grab tire/wheel at 12 and 6 o’clock and try to rock it. Do the same at 9 and 3.

TBH if you’ve got shudder while braking, your rotors are warped. Toss them, do not turn them, as it will come back.

If you’ve got uneven brake pad wear, you need to go through the calipers. Likely suspect are the slide pins which need to be cleaned and greased. If it’s pistons, then replace the calipers.

Some additional background, it’s a 2018 with 150k miles that I plan on selling or trading in another month or two. Not trying to spend a lot of money or time on it. Just don’t want to get stranded somewhere. I bought the caliper and wheel bearing from advanced auto to make returning one later easier.
I checked the wheel play and essentially none on top or side play
Calipers pins I pull and grease every rotation. They were a rusted from winter but still have same issues afterward cleaning them with the passenger being warm to hot compared to driver side after driving.
As for rotors don’t doubt they are warped but it’s only at higher speed braking that I have any vibration so aren’t worth replacing at this point.
Brake pads are 50k and even wear that I can tell without pulling them out of caliper.

It’s the rotors. Simple job. Set you back $70 to $80 for a set.

Note to self: do not buy a car owned by this guy.
