Squeaking noise in dash

I have this squeaking noise coming from dash that sounds like a tape player or cd or a fan belt squeak! I have no tape deck, no cd in deck and the noise is inside not out. Not coming from ac vents or blower either from what I can tell. Anybody have s clue?

Lol I have something similar. Very annoying. But seems to go away on its own sometimes. One of my cup holders spring is loose. And the handle that holds the cup doesn't hold my drink steardy. I think that the spring wobles or shakes under the trim. My theory.....

I think its definitely something running either under dash or somewhere in cab. it goes away usually after car is warm. maybe it is the ac blower but makes noise when off. guess I'll live with it until I can pinpoint or something blows up!

How's your trans fluid? Mine made a similar noise before I had it flushed. It would go away after the trans heated up to above 100 degrees.

The blower fan spins very slowly when the switch is in the off position. I wouldn't rule out a $30 part just yet.

most likely it is plastic rubbing against its self. we have roll of sticky foam/felt that once we find the squeak we put it on. My center console squeaks some, it drive me NUTS

Did you take apart your dash for any reason recently? I just installed my CB and I have a brand new sound like yours.

My dash rattles and squeaks. If I press down on it in the top center, it goes away.

Someday I will pull it apart and Dynomat it or something. I say that now, but I probably never will haha.

There is a TSB on rectifying squeaks in the dash. Essentially lots of 3M tape! It may still be on Yotatech. Your location doesn't help with this issue.
