Squeaking Noise With New Rear Brakes?

I'm getting squeaking noise that sounds like something is dragging on the rotor when I'm driving. It doesn't change when braking. It is on the driver's side and the noise gets faster as the wheel spins faster. Any ideas? Thanks.

EDIT: Just realized I forgot to put: new rear calipers, pads, and rotors.

When doing the brakes on my dad's Tundra, I remember that there were some small wire springs that help push the pads away from the rotors when not depressed (similar to the image below). Perhaps they may not be on correctly or fell off. They are sometimes easy to overlook. Another thing could be a stuck caliper.

Sorry, forgot to put in the first post that everything is new except for the ebrake.

Ah, gotcha. Was there enough anti-squeal grease applied between the shim/backing plate and the new pads? Perhaps the pads are just bedding to the rotor or one of the plates could be bent.

I took the wheel off and realized I put the hardware that seats the pads on the opposite ends of the caliper. I put them in the correct spot and the noise is mostly gone. I have a feeling the ebrake might be hanging up a bit on that side. I was gonna take it to the dealer after I put the new brakes on anyway to get the ebrake adjusted since I can get it for a very good deal.

My guess is the ebrake is dragging. The dealers gonna want to take the whole thing apart to adjust...

That's fine, they quoted me $59.95 and I have $35 worth of points to use so I'll pay half of that.

Good to hear that the noise is mostly gone. I second Greydog...and you...in that the ebrake dragging may be what's causing the remaining noise.

So I just got my parking brake adjusted. It feels solid and actually works now, but the noise is still there. Thinking I'll just chalk it up to new brakes and if it doesn't go away in a week or two, I'll look into it further.

Just thought I should follow up, noise is all gone so I'm guessing everything set now.
