Squeaky Arm Rest

Whenever my wife rides with me and we both have our arms on the center arm rest, the darn thing squeaks so bad. Anyone else experience this and have a fix?

The spring loaded hinges may need some grease or the mounting bolts might be loose? Mine had an annoying rattle til I added 2 thin gel pads. I think the washboard runs rattled it loose haha

i thought about the mounting hardware being loose. Ill check it out.
