Squeaky drivers seat

My driver seat squeaks when I move back and forth on it, basically go over any bumps. Of course, the dealer says they cannot duplicate the problem. What a bunch of crap. It's been already replaced once. This is one defect that this truck seems to have. To the guy with the SE..I bet you don't have this problem! Keep the cloth seats!!

I just had my dealer replace the entire seat with a new one. Fingers crossed that it does the job as so far so good.

Where does the noise come from?

I can duplicate the sound but it sounds like it is coming from under the car. I got down underneath the truck and listened while my girlfriend shook the truck. There is a fuel tank or something right under the driver seat and it seems to be rubbing on the underside of the car when the body flexes.

Is this what you are experiencing?

I have the same problem in my SE, the back section of the seat squeeks (usually when I'm leaning on the console). Haven't had it to the dealer yet, next time I'm in for an oil change I'll have it looked at...
