I jsut bought a used 2003 4RUnner sport with 36,000 miles on it. One of the wheels is squeeking as i drive. Does it do that when it needs to have breaks replaced? Thouights on what it might be?

First thing I would check is the shock. Is it dirtier on that side? If so, it's broken and that's causing the squeak.

If that's it you're in luck. You have the perfect excuse to replace the front shocks with Bilstein 5100s and level your ride. Will cost about the same as other replacement shocks if you do both sides and buy the parts online:
Bilstein 5100 Series 2003-2008 Toyota 4-Runner 2wd & 4wd Pre-Load Adjustable

Oops. Just noticed you've got a Sport model. Xreas suspension. $$$ to repair. In that case, a broken shock isn't such good news. You would be faced with the decision of whether to repair or replace the entire suspension.

Regards Sqeaking

Sounds like a bad PVC boot on the front wheel hub. Bad news if this goes too long because rust can develop in there. Does the sqeak come from the right or left front? Whichever side it comes from is where you should check the rubber boot. May also be a shot rubber torsion bar bracket.
