Squeeky / Rattling Rear Hatch

The past couple weeks I've been noticing that there has been a squeeking/Rattling noise comming from the Hatch. Is this the cause of worn out shocks for the rear hatch?

I had this as well. I was changing rear shocks anyway and thought it may have been that, but it wasn't. I traced it down to rattling of the rear seat "strikers" (basically the thing the rear seats lock into). I put a little bit of electrical tape around the strickers (not too much or it will be hard to get them to lock or unlock) and it stopped the rattle.

The rear seats don't rattle. I've had passengers in the back and without and it still Squeeks/Rattles.

I hope it's just the Shocks for the hatch.

I think he meant the rubber bump stops for the rear hatch that are held in with screws.

He mentioned "rear seat strikers". So I don't think he meant those Rubber Bump Stops for the Hatch. Could be an option as well.

Anyone else have/had this issue?
