I've had my 1999 T4R for 2 years and latley the doors have started to squek. Mainly the drivers door and the passenger rear. I tried WD40 but it's still there. The trucks in cherry condition...never been wrecked or driven hard. Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix?

When you open your doors and you see the part that is connected to the inside of the door and the frame (not the hinges), just squirt some wd40 in there like I did and it stops it.

wd 40 is not thick enough, it will just wash off with a good high presure hose... what you need is white lithium greese, it can be found at any home inprovement store or auto parts store! i use it on my doors, hood hinges and basicly anything that squeeks that is vounabul to the weather

I agree. Go with white lithium grease. It generally comes in a spray can so it's easy to apply to the part you want (and parts you don't :D )

i use the spray form graphite grease. works like a charm! i also had a squeaking problem from the rear leaf springs on my lifted 93 toy. i sprayed some on and it cured problem. the squeaking didn't come back even after a couple of water travels. good stuff!!!

I've had this problem with pretty much all my doors on my '96 at some point. I've done the WD-40 route as well and it works for a little while but eventually the squeaks always come back. I think the grease is definitely the way to go. I'll have to try that as well.
