SR-5 "Body Kit"

So any progress on this "kit"

Last contact I had with Mark over at Shrockworks was on February 28th. He said that he had "put me in line" for this kit, and will contact me when pricing is finalized. I am going to email him again in a week or so and see where they are at.

I definitely want to put these on before I get sliders.

Please do post pictures. :)

There needs to be something at the rear door trim piece, IMO. It has the same naked look as just removing the rocker skirts otherwise.

It'll be interesting to see the end product. My plan was to purchase the OEM rocker panels, coat them with the gloss black rhino bed liner for durability. I'll be waiting with bated breath.

I emailed them Sunday night about their progress on these and haven't got a reply yet. I'm sure they are all super busy over there since the just HUGE T4R group buy is being fulfilled.

I just got an email back from Mark at Shrockworks. They haven't elevated the rocker panel covers for the SR5/Limited models to the website but they have sold a few sets for $269 a pair, plus shipping with all of the hardware. He also confirmed that it's about 2 months from order to shipment.

Link to the product? was unable to locate it.

Just got the same email. I would snag a pair now but I have spend WAYYYY too much money on the 4Runner this month. Maybe this summer. Someone grab a pair and post up!

No link. I'm guessing an email or call to order should be all that is needed. I may order. I have a good friend who owns a local fab shop so I'll see what he can build first.

anybody rocking these yet? couldnt help myself.
what did the finished product end up looking/fitting like?
production run cost?

I got these installed, but no pictures yet. It pretty much looks identical to the pictures earlier in this thread. I forget what it ended up costing, I think ~250. Quality and finish is what you'd expect from Shrockworks.
The one thing I don't like though is it has 6 screws along the side that utilizes these rubber grommet/nuts. You're suppose to put them between the rocker panel and the body, and as you tighten the screw, it's suppose to expand and hold the panel tight - similar compression nut on bicycle fork. However, they don't work that well, and I called them up to ask for some more since i stripped out a few of them.
I'll try to take some pictures when it stops raining here.

not really a great pic, but you see how it ends as well. With the doors open, it does look like it cuts off awkwardly, but when the doors are closed, it looks perfectly normal.

Wow, $240! Pricing must be based on the unique application. This would have to go way down on the list of wants. Lower price maybe, but, with a simple Dremel and masking tape I was able to cut rocker to fit. Looks like it was designed that way and saved me, well, $240 to spend on something else.
