SR5 head unit aux inputs

I have a 2004 SR5 base vehicle with the Toyota HU, with CD and tape - no steering wheel controls, no stacker, no rear seat controls. I am considering a plug and play satellite radio and believe the sound quality is better with a connection to aux in, rather than a fm modulator. My manual or my dealer has not been helpful in determining whether the HU will accept aux inputs. Rather than remove the unit, does anyone know?

Thanks for the reply. myradiostore ships to Canada, but the catalogue says the HU must have a CD changer input. The part number you specified may be correct, but I still don't know if my stock HU has the necessary input. If I buy, I can't return it, only exchange for a different unit.

That's the right adapter SHARP gave you.

Myradiostore.com doesn't have the new updated adapter yet, but LOGjams is. Either wait for Myradiostore to start carrying the new one, or order it from Logjam.

But you want the TOY03-AUX, new updated version.

Logjam does not ship to Canada, so I will need to get it from myradio. I would buy a plug and play unit that supports both fm modulator as well as hard wired to the HU.
