SR5/Limited Wheel Swap

Newly registered member, but I have been frequenting the forum when I began looking at getting a new car. After about 5 months of debating between the Camaro SS and T4R, I took the more practical route.

Anyways, I put my deposit down for a BP SR5 w/ leather, etc. The dealership called today letting me know it has left Japan and will arrive around the middle of next month. However, I really don't like SR5 wheels, but really like the Limited's. I was hoping somebody on here would be interested in swapping. I live in central, KY and can meet halfway if it isn't too far. If not, I'll be getting aftermarkets.

I have an SR5 and swapped for Limited rims today with another member in Denver. It was more cost effective to keep the TPMS sensors with the vehicles rather than reprogram. It was essentially a mount and balance for all 5 tires. Ended up being about $80 per truck. Took about 90 minutes.

Thanks for the info... hopefully, I am as fortunate as you were.

I'm in the same boat. I want the leather steering wheel. But I will go through the dealer probably, or look for a totaled Limited. I dont think a limited driver is going to want our crappy steering wheel.

The leather steering wheel sold me on the premium package on my SR5. It's quite nice.

If you find a Limited, I want the instrument panel lowers and center console. I want a totally black interior.

I have a Limited and want to swap, but I am in SC. My vehicle has under 300 miles on it. I guess that is too far to make it happen?

SR5 Wheels and Tires

I purchased a 2011 SR5, Black last month with 9000 miles. I had a 2005 SR5 with 17" wheels. I needed new tires, so I purchased a set of the Cooper HTP + last october. When I purchased my 2011, I had them put the new tires on the new truck. They currently have less than 3500 miles, with the warranty Discount Tires offers.

I'm interested in a set of limited wheels and tires for trade. I've had a few offers, but the tires have around 25-30k miles on them, meaning I would need to spend about $900 for new tires. Honestly, I don't have the funds to do that right now, so I'm hopeful I can find someone interested in swapping with less miles on the tires. :bounce:

Limited for SR5 wheels/tires.

Bought a new Limited 6 days ago. Approx 200miles on it now. Apparently 245/60R20 is 'limited' to street/comfort ride' tires. Not why I bought a 4Runner, but like the bells and whistles of the Limited. Might be interested in SR5 wheels&tires. Phoenix.
