SR5 Sport Flare Hardware Help

I purchased a set of used flares recently and am trying to get them mounted up. I am in the process of identifying which hardware goes where.

My 4runner originally came with the skinny chrome flares, so I am also wondering if I need to modify the body mounts as well.

In the attached hardware picture here is what I think goes where:

1. Door flare clips and bolts?
2. ?
3. ?
4. ?
5. Mudflap bolts?
6. Front flare bolts?

Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

You do not need to modify the body. I did the same and I believe there was a single hole that needed modified on the rear trim piece.

Ifor you position them on the truck you'll see where they bolt up. I spent like 45 minutes doing mine for the first time.

My flare hardware is a bit different than yours, but I recognize some of the pieces:

1: Rear door flare clips and screws (4 per door)
2: I dont recall these clips on my rig... I would suspect these are for the rear flares (mine use nuts with an integral washer).
3: I believe these are the mudflap screws (3 per side). The mudflap holes have a nut already welded - so you could test fit of these to verify.
4: These seem odd, but I suspect they were being used with #6 for the front flares.
5: Rear flare screws (6 per side).
6: These look like my front flare screws, but mine are a tad longer (5 per side, not including a front mud flap)

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread. Anyone know the length and thread pitch for hardware to the SR5 sport rear mudflaps? Trying to install the mudflaps again but want to know the hardware needed to anchor to the stock bumper.

Any help would be appreciated.

If it is going into a welded nut, it should be M6x1.0, unsure of length. They will use the same hardware your current mudflaps use...

Thanks Charlie,

Appreciate your help. I'll head to home depot and look at those thread pitch screws. And yes I'm looking at anchoring the screws to the welded nuts embedded in the rear bumper.
