SSO rear bumper

We got the SSO bumper installed this weekend. I really do enjoy having a tailgate again. There are body gaps to allow the truck to flex. The pic I posted is from an angle and this is not as bad as it appears. IF it ever stops raining, I will try for more pics. Everything fitted as per the instructions. the bumper itself is 200#'s. I am running Toytec HD springs on the back and it's not been an issue with squatting.

How do you like the bumper so far?

I'm looking for a rear bumper that replaces the entire factory rear bumper and this seems like the only one that goes all the way up to the light.

I’ve enjoyed mine so far. There’s a few things that are not stainless that I need to replace already. But no big deal. I’ve got 5100s and OME heavies.

OP Have you decided where to cut your exhaust yet? I haven’t cut mine yet but don’t have any serious wheeling until April or June on the horizon.

Have you also checked out the 4x4labs rear? Replaces entire bumper as it requires you to cut the cross member off

Yea, I have actually, I forgot about that one when I posted. Those are the 2 I am mostly interested in right now, pretty much only because they go all the way to the light. I really like the C4 Fabrication one too, but wish they had it go all the way to the light.

c4 provides a metal piece for the top that you bolt on. It's a full replacement but the piece that butts up to the light is separated from the main bumper. Watch the install video on their site.

Thinking about going 4x4 labs tho.
