Hello everyone,

Long time member here.. owning a 98' over 5 years ago. Stumbled across this 01' Hilux with a 3.0 1KD-FTV diesel, so I bought it, as everything from around Canada is rusted out.

Anyway, here is the first pic of my build. Hoping to find more Hilux owners here too...!

Good find .Truck looks great. love those front side view mirrors and spoiler. It's a right hand drive which throws other drivers on the road off.

Very cool!! What are your impressions of it so far? I was just wondering the other day what it would take to get a diesel 4Runner down here in the states

Thanks. So far so good. There are enough RHD vehicles up here in Canada, that people are used to them...

Thanks! The diesel is awesome, lots of torque and super cheap to run so far. 8.5L/100KM (27MPG)..

I think the RHD can be converted into LHD. New dash, paddles etc., Wiper motor is the issue I find that will be bit to hard to relocate.

Added some Spidertraxx wheel spacers. Make a huge difference. I can actually hold off on wheels now. Been wanting some SCS wheels, but you have to be a celebrity to buy them…

Took the truck skiing. Installed an inline coolant heater so she’ll start colder then minus 10 Celsius.

Nice looking SSR-X! Out of curiosity, does it have the super rare Recaro OEM seats?
