Hey guys, so will be on vacation in St. Augustine and wife said I could have a day to myself to "explore".. Wes thinking of going over to Ocala National Forest. Can you guys make any recommendations, is it worth the trip over, looks like it's about 60 miles from St. Augustine at least on the northern part. Any help, advice would be GREATLY appreciated..
St. Augustine next week want to visit ONF..

St. Augustine is awesome. We camped at the North Beach campground over Labor Day. I can’t help much with Ocala (It’s a 4.5 hour drive) but if you have Facebook there are a ton of members from the Florida 4runners group in the area and they go out all of the time.

There is 4x4 beach access in St. Augustine at some of the beaches, so it’s nice to just be able to pull the truck right up on the beach. If you decide to do that check out Zaba’s on A Street for breakfast if you like a quick hole in the wall beach place. It’s also right across from the 4x4 beach access. You can drive from there all of the way down to the end of Anastasia Island on the beach, which is pretty cool.

Ocala National Forest is a great choice for organizing outdoor activities. When you go, remember to bring snacks, drinks and fully equipped with a phone to play Geometry Vibes at any time, enjoy your trip.
Nice plan — you’ll love Ocala National Forest (ONF) if you’re staying near St. Augustine! It’s about 1.5–2 hours southwest (roughly 80–100 miles depending on which entrance you use).

That sounds like a great adventure! Exploring Ocala National Forest is worth it, and checking the Dunkin coolatta menu before the trip is perfect.
