Took the quads out with the new TE towing. The truck seemed to handle the light load, less than 2500LBS., rather well. We pulled a 13x5 foot trailer with 2 quads and gear about 75 miles outside of Vegas. I was worried about a couple of sections on the dirt road but the T4R handled just fine. My only disappointment was the MPGs. We averaged about 13.7 MPGs. not too good. My 08 f150 gets 14 to 15 and it's a V8! Oh well, you can't have everything! But overall it did the job

Very nice and it looks like you changed out the antenna. I'm wondering how this truck would handel the max 5000k?

There was a huge difference in the ride with the trailer and quads in tow. HUGE! I was concerned about getting through the thick sand patches that are on the lower part of the dirt road. Not a problem! Had absolutly no problems cruising at 80+MPH but as I said the quality of ride did suffer! It's not intended to be the primary tow vehicle but it can fill in from time to time.

FWIW my 4.0L got stronger and used less gas through 8k+ miles. I couldn't believe how long it took to break-in.

You'll probably get closer to the F150's mpg once you get some more miles.

The black TE looks good. Looks like lots of fun with the new 4Runner and quads. Congrats.
