Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Hey all. I need some input, I would like to upgrade my lines. To all that have done it or looked into doing it; where would you recommend getting them? Also is there a write up on how to do it? Also, did you do front and rear?

I have both front and rear sets (you will need to call them, as both pairs are not listed on the site) with ATE Typ200 Dot 4 fluid. I highly recommend that you upgrade the fluid while you are doing it. It cost me about 150 bucks for the parts and about 150 for the install (its not an easy install).

overall braking performance is better with better pedal modulation under normal light braking. Pedal feel is markedly improved.

I dont know who else might have done them.

What is so difficult about the installation?

I'm in the same boat.

its not simply a hardware install as with most autos, the system needs to be recalibrated which is what takes all the time.

Recalibrated? Can I do that, or is that a tech issue? I've never heard of having to recalibrate brakes before, why is it that we have to do it on our 4R's?

i have no idea what its all about, i took it to the dealer to have done since no one had done it before me (or at least publicly).

Are they regular or extended length?

good question alex, i never thought to ask or compare to the old ones. They didnt look all that long so i would expect them to be OEM size.
