Stalling on 4th Gen

Has anyone ever had there 4th gen stall? It has only happened 3 times usually though after the vehicle was sitting a while. It will fire right up and stall but on a second starting attempt everything is fine. I wonder if it is an issue with the "No Hold" starter feature?

Sounds as if it may be a fuel pressure problem. The problem will be hard to duplicate at the dealer since you said it has only occurred 3 times.

If it was me I would buy a bottle of gas tank antifreeze and/or water removal solution from autzone, Pep Boys, Kraegen, etc and use it. Perhaps you are buying bad gas from you local service station. I always use a high tier (Cheveron, Mobil, Texaco, Exxon, Shell, etc) in my Runner.

Almost 3 years of ownership and no stalling issues. Once it starts, it's good to go.

Did anyone ever get an answer on this? I'm experiencing the same problem. After sitting for a while, car will stall, but on second crank, is perfectly fine. It doesn't seem to be a big problem but I want to be proactive and make sure it doesn't end up being any worse than it already is.
