Just add spacer until you're slingin' mud and your wheel bearings are screaming for mercy lol
 
1.25in spacers with stock TRD Pro rims. Which is about -25 due to the rims width (please correct me if im wrong). Rim width plays a factor in offset as well.

width and backspace all plays a factor..i'm just simplify things.

thats why the pro's with spacers only sit about flush to the fender.
