Starter is OUT after 28 days of ownership..

How much time and tools does it take to fix (Replace) one? And if I can manage to fix it personally, Is there a company or model of starter that is a stud over the others??

The 'stud' is the factory DENSO. Fix or rebuild the one you have, if possible. Be sure the starter is at fault, not connections or merely the contacts (VERY common). Throwing away a factory Denso as core exchange on a reman is, IMHO, a really dubious move.

Do a search and you will find that many starter issues are fixed by replacing the contacts.

Well, I literally just picked up a pair of contacts from the dealership and walked right in to my home and saw this.
