It has 97K miles. Perfect shape in and out and no issues. The Toyata dealer I bought it from only had records from Oct (when they got it) and when I bought it. Some of the things I see the fixed were:

Antenna mast
New battery
Passenger rear axle seal
Valve gover gasket

I was going to do the front diff, rear diff and xfer case fluids. Was quaoted 225 for all of them. Then I wondered if the rear would have all new fluid from the axle shaft seal? Would that have been totally drained for that fix?

Next I will want to do the coolant and a tune up. Like I said, its all fine and fluids look good but I just like to know for sure when its been done. No idea about timing belt but that will be the last thing I have done.

Don't have to replace the gear oil to replace the oil seal.....so I'm sure they didn't....

Timing belt cover will have a sticker on it if it's been done....plan on timing belt, water pump, and thermostat and the minimum when you get in there.

Spark plugs are a 30,000 mile interval, so you might want to look into when the last time that was done.

5 speed or auto?

I dont know when anything was done. Bought it from a dealer, title is from another state. All I know is what the Toyoate dealer did to it when they took it into inventory.

So pull one of the easy-to-get-to plugs and look at it. You may want to replace it as those crush washers are 'one-time' only but I have pulled plugs on occasion without any problems. A look at the plugs is always a good X-Ray into the health of an engine.

If the plug looks normal, and it is a dual electrode NGK or Denso, let 'em go another 15-20k. Otherwise, it's plug change time. Check your pads and shoes, and if brake fluid is anything but clear or close to it, I'd do a flush. Brakes are good to have.
