Starting to get a driveline whine

Between 55 and 65 mph cruising a steady speed there is a fine whine coming from the rear end. Not good. I can make it go away by increasing the throttle which is putting more torque on the diiferential. I will take it in next week and get the same ole "vehicle operating normal at this time or could not duplicate problem at this time" Btw I have 31K miles on it. Changed the rear diff fluid at 15k with Mobil 1.

Have you greased your driveshaft?

no but I will today I will post with results if any. I was also wondering if it was the exhaust I had the tip turned out the side and noticed it after that probably just happened around the same time.

I greased the drive shaft rear and front still makes the noise. I think the backlash was not set right and when the gears broke in now there is too much I had a place that specializes in gear and driveshafts look at it. So back to the dealer it will go for a new rear end at a whole 4,000 miles.
