steering audio controls, cruise control, horn, stopped working suddenly

So my steering wheel audio controls, horn, cruise control all stopped working, checked all fuses and cannot figure out what is going on, anyone have this problem, I have a 03 V8 limited

Loose wiring connector? Anything out of ordinary happen lately?

Yeah there is another one that I think is alot better, dont remember anything out of the ordinary, took the wheel apart and cant find anything wrong, I just dont get how the one dealer could just tell me sorry we dont know

Yeah all that still works, just the horn, cruise control, and radio controls

That sounds like a textbook clock spring issue to me.

All the buttons/electronics on the rotating part of the wheel need to pass signals to the column and down to the vehicle, but also need to be able to rotate what, 360+ in each direction? The solution is the clock spring, connecting all those buttons to the column but allowing that rotation. When it fails, wheel controls die but the turn signals/wipers still work since those are stationary.

Just FYI, there IS a setting to automatically subscribe to a new post. I guess it's turned off by default but I turned mine on. However, at the top post there is a "subscribe" drop down where you can click to subscribe or unsubscribe.
