Steering wheel Noises?

Every time I make a turn, I'm hearing this squeaking noise, and it feels like I have no power steering. I spray WD-40 in the housing, and it only helps for a short time. Has anyone else ever had this problem, what did you have to do to fix it, and about how much dose it cost to fix?

Spray the steering linkage u-joint with white lithium grease. Can be seen from driver side wheel well.
The u-joint and linkage as seen in this pic.

^^ If you live in the rust belt area(which is why it failed in the first place) , changing the joint is stupidly a pain in the arse. Everything is seized up.
Tip. When installing the new one in. There is a dot on the steering spline shaft where the joint slides over. The white or yellow line on the new u-joint shaft needs to align with the dot. The rust and corrosion will hide the dot but it is there.

I still today don't understand why the 4runner is like a rust magnet.:nono:
