Steering wheel/stereo controls not working

Hey to all, I have a 2003 SR5 with lots of extra stuff, specifically the JBL 6 cd in dash stereo and steeering wheel controls. anyway last night my steering wheel and stereo audio controls would not work, no amount of turning the nob or attempting to use the steering wheel volume control would produce anything. Any one else have this happen and if so what is the fix? UPDATE: Stranger still is this afternoon, didn't drive the 4Runner all day, started it up to move it and now the controls work...any ideas what would cause this? thanks, CSM-H

Same thing happened to my girlfriends '05. Did it a few times but stopped. Once more and it goes to the stealer for a check up. Let us know if you find anything out.

Steering radio controls Thread BUMP

My radio steering controls stopped working one day. I’ve taken apart the steering column to dig into this problem hoping to find a disconnected wire but no luck. Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the steering column? Your help is appreciated
