Stereo Display all distorted and going out?

Has this happened to anyone? It happens from time to time and doesnt seem to be permanent. I believe its covered under my extended warranty but what is happening????

radio display out / garbage

I had the same thing happen to my display on my 09 tacoma... I took it in and they ordered a replacement for me. Hopefully will be in soon.

This is a great excuse to upgrade your head unit! I personally am saving for the kenwood GPS touch screen unit but there's tons of options out there better then the stock HU. Just my $0.02...

I have the same thing going on in my 08 4Runner. It only happens once in a while. Sometimes it is distorted and sometimes the backlight just doesn't come on. A quick thwap with my finger corrects it right away.... so far...

I have only seen some dimming on the temperature display area, when its really cold (below zero).

My Instrument Panel light is not there anymore. There is no light in LCD (showing temperature) as well. What to do & How to Replace.
