Stereo Head Unit - Can the 2014-Present Headunit work on a 2010-2013

I'm looking at the shape and the shapes look similar between each other.

#1. Can the head unit from the new 2014-up 4runner fit on the 2010-2013 4runner?
#2. Will everything work as normal?
#3. Will the camera show up both on the mirror and main head unit screen at the same time?
#4. Will all the steering wheel buttons work?

Thanks in advance. the reason why I'm interested is because a buddy is changing his on his 2017 to an android unit and I want to take his and put it on my 2011.

Theres info everywhere a bout that T8 headunit for our rig. There isnt a wiring harness for it yet that will work with the early 5th gens. Also, there's a bunch of double dins or even android units that have carplay that you can simply swap in..

T8 is terrible, don't buy one. T9 is far better but still isn't going to be "OEM" quality. Also what aceee said is correct, no current wiring harness for any of the all-in-one android units

I got it to work in my 2010 but lost party mode and the USB. There's another thread floating around on this with the adapters to buy.
