stereo wiring harness question

please bear with me - i have only installed one head unit and that whole wiring harness matched up with my tacomas so i had no extra wires.

i am now working on installing a clarion cz509 with bluetooth in my 3rd gen and there are extra wires that are not on the wiring harness adapter - cell phone mute (12v input), remote turn on (12v), and 2 constant power yellow wires as opposed to one. my question is mainly with the cell phone mute and remote turn on since they are random colors. can i just solder those to the red switched 12v source or will that overload it? if that doesnt work where should i attach those? thanks and again, i apologize for the noobie question. thanks for any and all help

sorry... I just googled it and figured it out (I think). For my install I don't have a sub and still use stock speakers so I don't need to connect the remote turn on wire and I can tape off the cell phone mute wire and install the rest. Sorry to clutter the forum but hopefully this helps someone

If you have bluetooth and plan on using it, attach the cell phone mute wire to the ground. This way the music will cut off when you receive a call through the bluetooth. The remote turn on wire is for external devices, so yes if you don't have an amp, you do not need to use the remote wire.
