Sticker removal (Over electric defogger)

I just got my 02 4-Runner (1/20/06) and the previous owner put a University sticker on the inside of the rear window at the bottom and it crosses a couple of the wires in the glass. I removed most of the sticker except where it crosses the wires.

Using a razor blade will it damage the wires, or are they embedded in the glass. Also what solvent can be used to remove the glue that is stuck to the glass?

WD-40 will do the trick. The secret is to saturate the adhesive so that it basically turns to goo & wipes off. Then thoroughly wipe the entire area clean with a wet towel to remove all of the WD-40.

Naptha....................that stuff is awsome. To bad they don't make MEK (Methyl Ethyl Keytone) anymore

When did they stop making MEK ? I got some at Home Depot a couple of years ago.
You would not want to take the chance of getting this stuff on the rear plastic panels anyway.
