The truck has been in a front end colision. You can tell by looking at the lower bumper filler plates below the driver side headlight. Also, the black fat lip plastic shroud, doesn't match the rest of the truck. Shady dealers often leave dents and stuff on the opposite end of a vehicle, in order to make you think it's original sheet metal. Whoever buys this truck is gonna be scammed big time!:boxer:
 
2nd fightman... that thing has been in a front end collision and has been POORLY put back together. The driver's side headlight is a dead giveaway and the whole front end is out of alignment. Whether it actually has a s/c or not, the stickers aren't even straight.

Shady. Period.
 
First thing I though when I saw the truck was that it was in an accident. On top of the other reasons, the grille isn't painted correctly, either.

I saw that also and was wondering if it was just a specific year thing, or because it was a limited, but that's the first thing I noticed also.

It's most definitely not. All 2002 Limiteds and Sports had fully painted front bumpers. Not to mention the fogs that are also missing on this one.

Yeah this one's been in a front end collision prob nothing too major I mean they didn't need to repaint the top part of the bumper, as for the stickers yeah they are a little off (the "Supercharged" sticker should fit directly under the TRD symbol made of the same stuff, at an angle -- thats why there's the long straight edge at the top of the emblem). As for the fogs, yeah this is a Limited (can tell by the flare/running board shape) but they just weren't replaced after the accident. I'd say it's supercharged, I mean it is scooped ... :reddance:
 
my friend went and looked at this truck the other day since he wants an SC'd Runner and it is supercharged but the previous owner didn't really take care of it so he passed and it looked a little shoddy here and there for the price plus the non-matching bumper shyed him away.

Doesn't a car registered to an Insurance Company suggest a total loss? I looked at a similar vehicle (that's still for sale, by the way) that had an accident report that was followed by a line like the above. I assumed it was bad enough that the Ins. company bought it from the owner. Because of that I passed.

As a side note, I have a couple more weeks of unlimited Autocheck if anyone needs something checked out. PM me the VIN and your email and I'll forward the report.

Glad you went and looked. I can't stand going to those places. They cover the west side of Colfax. If your buddy is looking for a Runner I have an 01 SR5 with 94K on the clock. Timing belt has not been done but I have taken very good care of it. Has limited style flares, sunroof etc. No leather or wood trim. PM me if he'd be interested.
