Sticky brake caliper?

Hi there!

Some time ago I noticed that I have uneven wear on my brake pads.
Drivers side loked like 1/3 is left, but passanger side brake pads were totally gone and wear was a bit uneven. Also it feels like 4runner is pulling a bit to the left when breaking and one time when I was breaking hard passanger side was screming rubber but drivers was quet. Another time I stopped hard on concreet and only had rubber marks on passanger side.

What do you guys think? Replacing caliper? any other way around it?
If I have to replace it do I need to do both sides or only passanger...this is the where problem feels to be.

it does sound like a caliper is seized. my recommendation is to always replace them in pairs, however there are many who will suggest just changing the bad one is acceptable.

Have you bled the brakes? Air in one line but not the other could cause less pressure with the line with air in it due to it and absorbing pressure and not applying it to the brakes. Takes about 20 minutes with a friend and a can of brake fluid to be sure.

P.S. bleed it with the engine running, so much easier. You can just hold the brake and the booster will supply pressure to the line until all the old fluid is clean, then just close the bleeder.

Clean and lube the Caliper pens after you bleed the breaks

I front left was sticking (same wear pattern), bled it with synthetic fluid and problem solved! Luck. :cowboyL
