sticky gaspedal

ive got a first gen and it has a sticky gas pedal i thought it would be rubbing lines and or rubbing pedal bar but i checked and it wasent one of those things. then i disscovered that it only sticks when the engine is running. any ideas on what it might be?

Check the linkage at the pedal under the dash, and where the cable connects to the carb or throttle body in the engine compartment. Could need some lube, etc.

hey thanks man! I will deffinetly check that out.

maybe the butterfly valve return spring is getting old. Check that out, or maybe it needs a throttle body cleaning.
