I'm in the same boat. I'm definitely doing a side exit instead of out the back. Hopefully that will help with the exhaust coming in the back window

I have a Borla muffler, it was $100 on amazon so I figured why not. Honestly it is really quiet which is what I wanted, I can hear it a bit in the lower rpm range if I don't have my radio up.

I had a muffler shop do the install which was another $100, they also installed a 90 degree bend and a tip. This was probably the most important part, I no longer get the exhaust smell when I have the rear window down. It looks better as well.

I think I notice my TRD intake more than the exhaust. Its sounds great. If I go full throttle its all I can hear, not the exhaust.

I have the Borla cat back system...when down shifting to 4th or 3rd to climb long hills at highway speeds, the drone is annoying.

the sound of a v-6 is not worth spending the money on an exhaust system, sounds like a weak fart compared to a V-8..........
