Stillen Exhaust Note / Boy Racer Intake

I was fortunate to get the 150$ stillen exhaust with the 22" magna flow. Here's how it sounds:

was this a kit or did you have to piece it together? how is it on the inside in town and the highway? does it fit well? easy to install?

The exhaust was a close-out kit from stillen for 4runners with 2 catalytic converters. they were closing them out a few months back. it's a 2 piece from the 2nd cat to the tip. fit's really nice, no mods needed. $150 shipped,still can't get over that one.

The intake is a cheapo off ebay, but works good, just don't oil the filter

I'm not so sure you shouldn't oil the filter if it is a real K&N since you might be letting more crap past without the oil.

I wish i would've caught that deal on the exhaust since it looks nice and sounds even better.

it was a no-oil filter from the instructions, but i'm sure a little k&N red won't hurt. I'll look inside the throttle body in a bit since i just cleaned it, we'll see how well it filters.

Hmmm not to bad. Actually kinda making me wish I didnt pass on the $150 shipped. I thought about it but passed because I usually hate V6 exhausts. This one seems close to stock with a little growl to it.
