ive seen people who have them blacked out... im not sure if i wont to take them off or make them black...
i was thinking about putting halo led projector front headlights in but then i heard that the performance outpuit was not very good and that the stock halogen lights are more powerful.

the bumper lens mod is a good one. read through the thread, then develop your own plan.. using led bulbs cuts down on the heat buildup. others found it easier to tap into the tail light wires rather than the trailer harness method.

i was thinking more street than off road because i ont live near anywhrere to go offroading.
i am gonna buy halo led projector lights, tint the two front windows, and possibly a system as of right now, maybe some leds inside ?? i saw pictures of someone with leds inside the car and it looked pretty nice.

:sobbing:im torn between either
A. getting 15x8 black rims with some cheap knobby tires. hopefully not needing to buy a lift kit.
B. buying projector led headlights
C. getting leds for the inside of my car from www.ledunderbody.com
D. altezza black housed taillights
E. tinting
F. exhaust kit
G. and lastly if i dont get rims, powder coat the stock rims black somehow, and debadge the car.

of all the things you listed, and since you are going to be more towards street than offroad Id say go for visual things that will have a major impact.... first and foremost would be rims. I dont plan on changing my rims, but I know that If you really want to change the appearance of a vehicle without much BS getting prettier rims is one way. Knobbier tires, well Im supportive, but I offroad 3-4 times per week and If you arent gonna really be going offroad i think you might be making more of a comfort/smoothness sacrifice than would be necessary. I dont have any doubts about having mud terrain tires, but Like i said, I use them frequently. But that also leaves lots of all terrain tires up for selection.....
Debadging is cool, I havent yet done it too my 4runner, but did it to my previous car and really liked the results. Smoothness is never bad....
Tinting- imho is a NECESSITY. When i ordered my truck i ordered the factory tint AND got 15% on all windows..... sometimes i like to pick my nose/drink a beer/smoke a joint/ whutevar.
I really like the projector/hid headlights of the 06+ but I prefer the SHAPE of the 05- healights.... and as far as ive known it takes a VERY skilled person to make an hid/projector setup happen in a headlamp that isnt initially setup for it.... but the quality of light IS better. If you can afford to do it right than do it, or if you dont care than do it too!
exhaust is FUN. to me I havent a regret about it.....but it depends on the person..... this kind of thing seems to be highly subjective esp. amongst 4th gen 4runner owners :artist:
Lastly, I am powdercoating my stock sport rims SOON. not black but gunmetal..... I like to be unique ( or is it uneek?
) and I think the contrast will be complimentary.

in regard to the tinting i was going to do it on my own, but when i looked into it, it really isnt that easy.
i also popped the hood and look as to how i would install the lights... also looks like a very confusing thing to do.
theres a tint shop near my house, but idk where i would go to get the headlights done??
would i take it to a (pepboys, autozone, local gas station?) or should i look for a professional body shop??

Honestly Donnie, I dont think those places would be able to help you..... theyll just try and sell you silverstar lightbulbs or something.
I think there are aftermarket headlights out there if im not mistaken, with things like black housings and LEDs.... not so sure about the projectors tho...

If you do choose to change rims I don't think 15" will work. If you have the non-SE, non-Limited T4R 16" with the correct offset ar 17" will work.
Donnie, as for the rest of your mods, can't you get a beach pass in Rhode Island? When I was a kid I used to go out on the beach in our friends beach car (an old rusty Suburban) with a beach sticker. If that's still true that might influence some of my choices. Beaches and sand can be very fun.
