Stock 5th gen Trail fender height?

Sorry if this is a repost but I couldn't seem to locate this info else where...anyways, could someone give me the stock fender height of a trail edition? I recently bought my 4runner but I'm not totally convinced it is running a 3in lift, front seems to sag. Lift is OME and has heavy duty springs up front for the shrock weight. Frankly it didn't even change when installed the bumper. Here's a photo

With stock tires, i measured mine at 34 1/4 up front and 37 1/8 in the back. With lift and 285's, i am at 38 1/8 up front and 39 1/2 in back.

They should all be close, but the Limited I measured a couple months ago was between 34 - 34 1/2" ground to fender. I stopped to measure that so I could write down a base line.

Just measured and I came out with 36in up front with 40in in the rear with 255/75/17s

Something definitely appears to be wrong, 4in difference doesn't seem right.

Did you install the lift? I am guessing you have 2884's with that size tire + bumper to come up with 36". Also do you have a winch in that bumper?

2885s w/trim packer in the front, a Shrockworks and m8000. 2889s in the rear.

And no, I didn't not install the lift.

Measuring from the fender to the centre of the hub is a more accurate way to determine a change in suspension as it removes all the other variables like tire size, pressure, rim width etc. If it helps, my stock hub to fender measurements are 19.25" in the front and 21.5” on the rear axle.

Every truck has the potential to be different but mine was 34 5/8 front and 36 3/4 rear completely stock.

I'm thinking you are looking at the difference between some weight in the front and no weight in the back. 889's are going to give you 3" without any weight on them. I have 885's in the front with a lighter front bumper and winch (~150 pounds) and measure 37" from the ground with 265 tires (22" hub to fender). I have 1.25" spacers in rear in this picture with a couple hundred pounds of work gear in the back on factory springs and measure 37" there also. I have a pair of Toytec 2" Superflex springs waiting at the house for me to get the time to install them . Those should give me another 3/4" in the back once they're in (removing spacers). You may need to go lighter in the back unless you are going with a rear bumper, or the next heavier in the front.

I am looking at your picture and I would say you are normal and what I would expect from an OME set up. It looks just like mine. OME yields 2.5-3" lift but everyone that I have installed or seen are usually closer to 2.5".

OME tend to have a bit of forward rake that I notice and generally don't sit exactly level. That gives the added benefit of carrying a load before the rear sags below the front. Which for me is my preference though many want it level.

Anyway, to me, you look just like mine.

You mentioned a trim pack? Both sides or just driver's? ARB specs a trim pack on the driver's side for KDSS equipped 4Runners.

End of the day, it is all about what you want. If it looks too low then it is too low. Park it on level ground. Put a floor jack under the front cross member an raise it to a point you like. Then determine how much more lift you want. You can add a top spacer or switch to adjustable coilovers. The number won't matter if you don't like the look.

I've been debating on upgrading the front coils anyways, so this might be the way to go. I like the way it looks, I just thought it looked a bit sagged compared to others I've seen. Anyways, thanks for all the advice and input guys, I really appreciate it.

One more thought. OME makes 3 springs for your 4Runner. The 884 for stock. The 885 for bumper and winch and the 887 which has the same spring rate as the 885 but one more coil for increased lift.

Or sometime soon they are releasing the BP-51, an adjustable coilover with bypass.

This statement could not be more true I just have not updated my profile but I did the bilstein shocks set at 2.5 and a 1.5 cornfed space with bilstein shocks it did not look right to me I like the negative rake look. So I pulled the 1.5 and put a cornfed 1 in rear still wasn't in love so I bought new toytec springs and top plate spacer diff drop and spc arms. Now ground to bottom of fender ft is 38-7/8 and the rear is the same. No lean looks great! I'll post some photos later.

This statement could not be more true I just have not updated my profile but I did the bilstein shocks set at 2.5 and a 1.5 cornfed space with bilstein shocks it did not look right to me I like the negative rake look.
