Stock '95 stereo into an '87?

I recently picked over a fairly clean '95 limited and decided to grab the stocker cd/cassette stereo and amp, the guy just threw it in for free. I'm kind of a Toyota geek and want to upgrade my '87 with a Toyota unit and I'm hoping this one will work. My stock cassette player won't play tapes anymore and the tuner sucks. I grabbed the harness plugs too. Has anyone done this? Is there a wiring schematic available for both units so I can get it converted?
There was a wire plugged into the back, right next to the antenna wire, that I didn't get, not even sure what it's for, seemed to disappear behind the glove box and run up the passenger side door frame?

I know with the cost of good quality aftermarket stereos, most would think I'm crazy to waste my time with this. I'm happy to report it was mostly a direct bolt and plug in swap. The only item I had to change around where the mounting brackets that screw to the sides of the deck. The '95 amp was a pain to stuff in there, but it did fit on top of the unit with just enough room for the ash tray to still function, even though mine only holds pocket change. Just thought I'd update this, it was free and took me about 45 min. It really perked up the stock '87 speakers too, it sounds much better and tuner is working great!

The '85 I'm trying to bring back from the dead has the stock double din setup. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to keep it or sell it with the truck.

If it's an early double din with the equalizer, they are hard to find! The tuner was weak and the cassette player didn't work, I kinda want to get it repaired and put it on the shelf. I really just wanted the CD player because I prefer to listen to audio books when commuting to work.
