I am planning on installing 2 sets of lights of hella 500's and i have a 1200watt amp and 2 12" subs i plan on installing in my 98 4Runner. I am thinking i need to upgrade my alternator to do this.
So my question is what is the stock alternator output and what output do you think i need?
I found http://www.h-o-alternators.com/index.htm and there "upgrade" is a 170Amp unit, however there is no price listed online. Cheap is important to me but i also dont want a piece o' crap either.
