Stock heights?

Have you noticed how some stock 4runners just sit very high?

Is there any good reason why some sit much higher than others? pertaining 4x4's only.

If so, I would like to find me one with that package or code that gets the perked up stance.

'99's had the tallest springs. I just grabbed myself a set and I'm expecting an 1.5" lift from them. Doing the lower balljoints at the same time. :biggrin2:

AHH you must be right, I checked out a 1999 today and was like :reddance::lookout:!!

So is there any reason that the 99's sit taller than the others besides longer springs? Such as lower control arms and such?

Thats good thinking btw. Its good to do that stuff when you can easily access it anyway.
