Stock HID light?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but does the 08 come with stock HID's? The reason I ask is because I ordered a set of H11's for a "vehicle with stock halogens" according to their website. After I received them, the base of the HID bulb is too small for the vehicle light socket.. I know H11 is the correct bulb, so I'm trying to figure out where I went wrong.

the 08 4r comes with projectors not HIDs, so ur saying u ordered HID bulbs (bulbs only) for the oem light? u need the whole kit, ballasts & all. if u can, post a link to what u purchased.

Yea I misspoke.. I got the whole kit, balasts and all.. The problem is, the bulbs don't fit.. They should twist into place, but are too thin. That's the best I can describe it right now..

there should be a piece that replaces the receptacle... it doesn't just screw into where the stock bulb did

Can you bs more specific on the piece it should have come with? All that came in the kit was the 2 low beam bulbs, 2 balasts, some mounting brackets, and zip ties/sticky tape
