Stock jack and spare tire holder

I recently purchased my dream car, a 1990 4runner. She is the new love of my life. Unfortunetely, she didn't come with a spare tire, jack, lug wrech or spare tire wrench thingie. Three questions.

#1 How decent is the stock jack that fits under the rear driverside seat? Should I try to find an oem jack to have on board, or am I better off just getting an aftermarket jack and keep it in the back somewhere?

#2 How big of a wheel/tire will fit within the spare tire holder (the mount is underneath the vehicle)? Do I have to get the original spare size? I currently have some wheels of a tacoma and the tire size is 265 70 16. If I find another that size will it fit underneath?

#3 Do I have to have the stock spare tire wrech thingie to lower and raise the spare tire, or is there another tool I can use to do the trick?

Just get a decent sized bottle jack. It'll be much better.
You should be able to fit up to a 32" tire underneath.
I don't know of anything other than the factory crank handle that will lower the spare. Doesn't have to be from a 4Runner, can be from a p/u, 2WD or 4WD

That's almost 32". You might want to get under your truck and measure to be sure.
