Stock JBL Sub question -- added question--

Anyone know what the stock subwoofer specs are for:

Number of voice coils?
Impedence for voice coil(s)?
Wattage?

The stock sub has 2 voice coils.
Each coil measured with a DVM is 2 ohms.
I do not know the wattage, sorry.

removing the stock woofer from the stock enclosure...

Is there a trick to this? I removed all the screws that are securing the subwoofer, but it still doesn't come loose. Any suggestions before I break it? :awais:

It may be sealed with sticky stuff. Try to get a blade in between the speaker frame and the sub box.
