Stock radio and CD Text

So I have the stock HU and when I put it on CD Text it shows some of the title then there is a little arrow saying that there is more. How in the hell do you view the rest of the name???

Press and hold the "TEXT" button until you hear a beep, it'll display the rest of it. I think there's a limit of 24 characters though, so anything beyond that it won't display.

Lucky yours displays any text at all. My radio has NEVER displayed text for any CD title in my arsenal (old or new)! I would appreciate any ideas on how to reprogram my stock single disc toyota radio to do so.

Some, if not most, CD's don't have text. The ones I burn have text on them and a few newer CD's also have it. The ones that don't have CD-TEXT will display "NO TEXT" when you hit the "TEXT" button. I don't think your headunit needs to be reprogrammed.

This isn't a really good guide, but should give you a little insight on how to get CD's that have text on them.
