stock springs - any value?

Well just as the title says, are the stock springs worth anything? I could use a little extra money so I'm considering selling my stock springs if they are worth anything. They are from a 1998 Limited 4x4. As far as I know they are the original springs, which would mean they have about 105,000 miles on them. I didn't really think my 4Runner had started the notorious rear sag when I swapped them out, but only can provide pictures to justify.

So, are they worth anything at all or should I just keep em around?

I put mine on craigslist about 2 months ago and nothing yet, and i checked on ebay and there are none.

$50 at best since over 100k they are getting pretty tired. 100k is usually when it's time for new ones.

Should have gone to the Toyota dealership before the lift for the recall to be done. I had a 98 Limited and my dealership said that there was a recall on the 98 Limited rear springs and swapped them out for new springs. New rear springs would get you ~$100 or so. Personally, I wouldn't pay anything for springs with 100k on them.

I called the dealership twice about the recall and they didn't show anything in their computer for my VIN. They may had been done by the previous owner, I'm not really sure. I know with my civics I was able to get some money out of the stock springs, but figured with the sagging issue that these wouldn't be worth much. Looks like they are goin on my next scrap run.

Hey man. I'm curious about this. When did this take effect? I have a '98 myself and would like to know about this.

Clemson, not sure when it took effect, but the easiest way to find out if you get any booty from the recall is just to call your Toyota Dealer and give them your VIN. They will be able to tell you if your truck has any recalls out on it.
