Stock susp. replacement shocks, whats the best

My 01 Sr5 is in need of new shocks all around and was interested in feedback as to the best choices for stock susp. replacements?

Sonoran Steel System 3.0

Take a look at system 3 that Steve at sonoransteel.com sells. If you're interested in a little bit of a lift take a look at the 7.2 or 1.2 system (those cost more though). I've purchased 2 lift systems from Steve and he's about as knowledgable (and nice) as it gets about our 3rd gen 4runners.

BTW, I am a HUGE fan of E30's and regret very much selling my 90 325is a couple of years ago (which the kid totalled a few days later). I'm not a big BMW fan in general, but E30's will always have a special place in my heart. I am occasionally browsing for another, but clean ones are as hard to come by as a stock Civic hatchback.

i just put tokico trekmasters on my 2000 4wd. i am quite pleased with the result. the old oems were toast.

Any differences between the OEM and Tokico's? What about bilsteins, I'm assuming they make stock height replacement shocks?

sweet! love them e30s! I'm hoping to get a 325is to DD and keep the 99 for weekend trips, CO trips etc etc...

tokicos (stock) is what came off my 2000. these are a little bit of an upgrade from stock though (from what i read online, i have no idea how this thing ran new, b/c i bought it w/ 120k miles on it).

I've had both of these kits. Currently running the 7.2. I had the 3.0 on my old 4runner and it rode pretty nice.
