Stock system plays MP3 CDs?

Hey guys, just a quick question. I have a stock system in my 2000 4runner SR5. Before I go off burning CDs, does anyone know if the stock systems will play CDs with MP3s on them?

just check to be sure that it will plug and play, because I'm not positive on that
